Overview
The biggest film in South Korea right now, Hope is a rollicking, monster-mashing thrill ride that marks the much anticipated return of Na Hong-jin, acclaimed director of The Wailing and The Chaser. Hope Harbor, a small town near the Korean demilitarised zone, has been devastated by something big. As seasoned police chief Beom-seok (Hwang Jung-min, The Wailing) investigates the path of destruction with rookie cop Sung-ae (Jung Ho-yeon, Squid Game), his cousin Sung-ki (Zo In-sung) leads an expedition into the forest to hunt down whatever is responsible. None are prepared for what they find.
