Overview

Okay, three, two, one, let's jam. Also known as Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door, Cowboy Bebop: The Movie gives the brass-blaring space-cowboy series the big-screen treatment. Meet interplanetary bounty hunter Spike Spiegel and his crew of misfits aboard the spacecraft Bebop: ex-cop Jet Black, the once-hunted-now-hunter Faye Valentine, child hacker-extraordinaire Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky IV and their intelligent corgi Ein. After a pathogenic terrorist attack on Mars, our band of bounty hunters set out to catch the culprit before they strike again but soon learn a greater, darker plot is afoot as Halloween approaches.

Why See This Film

Spaceships, bounty hunters and jazz, no word does Cowboy Bebop justice better than ’cool’. Fear not if you haven't seen the show, Cowboy Bebop: The Movie is a standalone adventure intended for fans and newcomers alike (but for those counting, it is situated between episodes 22 and 23 of the original series). Enhanced budget, cinematic techniques, detailed animation, a returning cast, crew and composer make this the ultimate Cowboy Bebop experience as well as an excellent entry point to the cultural phenomenon.
