Overview
A tale of ambition and hubris set in 1980s Paris, The Great Arch unearths an architectural history rarely told outside France. In a surprise upset, Danish architect Johan Otto von Spreckelsen (Claes Band) has been selected to pull off a monumental feat: design and execute a modern archway to rival Paris' iconic Arc de Triomphe. Strong-willed and eccentric, von Spreckelsen's attempts to make la Grande Arche a reality will throw him into an unfamiliar world of political machination and the trials of art by committee.
