Overview

In a feat of astonishing acting endurance and versatility, Andrew Scott (Fleabag, All of Us Strangers) plays every single character in this radical new version of Anton Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya. Ivan (Uncle Vanya) has spent his life managing the estate and business affairs of his family without much thanks or acknowledgment of his efforts. When plans for the family home suddenly change, the delicate balance of group dynamics starts to tip and the family’s hopes, dreams and regrets are thrust into sharp focus.

“This one-man Vanya is a revelation.”

Why You Should See This Film

You swooned over Scott as ‘Hot Priest’ in Fleabag and he broke your heart in All of Us Strangers, but this is your chance to see Scott give a tour-de-force performance in the medium which was his first true love – the theatre. Co-created by Scott and British-Irish playwright Simon Stephens (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time), Vanya was widely praised by critics as a “masterclass in acting” (Evening Standard). This was filmed live during its sold-out run in London’s West End in 2023.

Please note: All tickets are $35, and include a glass of sparkling on arrival. Gift passes and Golden Age Membership discounts cannot be used for this special event. All attendees must be 18 or over.
