Overview

What would you do for eternal youth? Novelist Helen Sharp (Goldie Hawn) is green with envy when her longtime frenemy Madeline Ashton (Meryl Streep) steals her man, plastic surgeon Ernest Menville (Bruce Willis). Years later, she sets out to get payback the best way she knows how — by looking drop dead gorgeous! Her secret? A magic potion that promises eternal youth and beauty, doled out by mysterious socialite Lisle Von Rhuman (a radiant Isabella Rossellini). However, immortality comes at a cost, and revenge never comes easy.

Why See This Film

Did you ever want to see Meryl Streep act her guts out, with her head on backwards? This is the film for you! From the innovative mind of Robert Zemeckis (Back to the Future), Death Becomes Her is a devilish cult classic full of black magic and Oscar-winning special effects. Long-time Zemeckis collaborator and visual effects supervisor Ken Ralston managed to keep the performances of a killer cast, enhanced with a groundbreaking mixture of practical and digital effects, to deliver iconically ghoulish images that still stand up more then three decades on.
