Overview

What would you do for eternal youth? From the innovative mind of Robert Zemeckis (Back to the Future), Death Becomes Her is a devilish cult classic full of black magic, zany special effects and endlessly quotable dialogue, with a killer cast including Meryl Streep, Goldie Hawn, Isabella Rossellini and Bruce Willis. Novelist Helen Sharp (Goldie Hawn) is green with envy when her longtime frenemy Madeline Ashton (Meryl Streep) steals her man, plastic surgeon Ernest Menville (Bruce Willis). Years later, she sets out to get payback the best way she knows how — by looking drop dead gorgeous! Her secret? A magic potion that promises eternal youth and beauty, doled out by mysterious socialite Lisle Von Rhuman (a radiant Isabella Rossellini). However, immortality comes at a cost, and revenge never comes easy.

Why You Should See This Film

Did you ever want to see Meryl Streep act her guts out, with her head on backwards? This is the film for you! Full of wildly vampish seductresses who channel the classic femme fatales of 1940s noir, yet turned up to 11 with out-of-this-world special effects that only Zemeckis could devise, Death Becomes Her is a uniquely macabre 1990s gem.
