Overview

Based on Raynor Winn’s bestselling 2018 memoir, The Salt Path recounts her 630-mile trek along the beautiful but rugged Cornish, Devon and Dorset coastline with her husband Moth. Not long after Moth (Jason Isaacs) is diagnosed with corticobasal degeneration, he and Raynor (Gillian Anderson) find themselves houseless and nearly penniless. Together, with only a tent and a couple of essentials, the couple embarks on a journey through the coastal countryside hoping to find solace, a sense of acceptance and the determination to carry on.

This portrait of loss, humanity and rebirth makes it worth the emotional investment
