It explores the extraordinary life of Felix Leu - artist, pioneer of modern tattooing, and patriarch of one of the world's most respected tattoo dynasties. Eclectic artist, existentialist, and free spirit Felix Leu discovered tattooing as a means to support his nomadic lifestyle, but in doing so became one of the pioneers of modern tattooing. Travelling the world with his wife, Loretta Leu, they created an unconventional family life that encouraged their children to grow into independent artists. Although Felix is no longer with us, his vision, creativity, and philosophy continue to inspire through the remarkable Leu family, whose story is told in this intimate documentary.
