Kerfew Takeover

Kerfew Takeover

Djs Rakish, Munasib, Smriti and Socketjumpa (BD) + a screening of Mississippi Masala (1991)

Kerfew are taking over both the cinema and bar with their multi-format celebration of the south asian diaspora. Few collectives can call themselves game changers in Eora, but Kerfew can safely claim that title. From their first event in 2023, through to present day, they have shifted the paradigm of what it means to connect to and celebrate culture itself, using music as a "transgressive agent of change". Come down and hear Djs Rakish, Munasib, Smriti and Socketjumpa (BD) celebrate and educate like no other party can.

Djs in the bar from 8pm-1am whilst Mississippi Misala plays aprox 8:30pm-10:30pm in the cinema.

Entry to the bar is FREE and you are not required to see the film to enjoy the music!
