Join KCH for an exclusive first listen to his upcoming EP 'my head is a jungle in a deforestation way' in an intimate setting at Golden Age Cinema with DJ's playing throughout the night. This is a listening party with a heavy emphasis on 'party'.
Adelaide-raised and now Sydney-based singer, songwriter and producer KCH (Kyle Charles Hall) returns with his forthcoming sophomore EP, my head is a jungle in a deforestation way — a self-produced deep dive into heartbreak, mental health, and self-discovery. Expansive yet intimate, the project captures the chaos of an overgrown mind while carving out moments of clarity, pairing raw confession with cinematic, 90s and 00s coming-of-age nostalgia.
Opening this new chapter with the charged single “see I’m OK,” KCH sets a theatrical tone that runs throughout the EP. The EP’s second single, “since I dyed my hair blonde,” echoes this vulnerability — “It’s like I’m living the pilot of my life. It’s feeling fine (sometimes)” — distilling his ability to make personal turmoil feel widescreen and sun-soaked.
Inspired by Dominic Fike, The 1975, and The Last Dinosaurs, KCH crafts layered, conversational pop that feels as though it’s soundtracking your life in real time. With my head is a jungle in a deforestation way, he leans fully into that world — honest, nostalgic, and unafraid to let the mess show.
Doors and DJs are on from 8:00pm.
