Overview
In Super Nature, we travel across twenty-five countries and encounter more than 120 animals, as Sayers brings together forty Super 8 collaborators (Caitlin Henderson, Oliver Birt and Fraser Johnston from Australia feature), each capturing the natural world in their own way and sharing their thoughts as voiceover. Together, their otherworldly Super 8 footage offers a unique and intimate portrait of the natural world.
“Crowd-sourced Super 8 film is a triumphant collage of hope for the natural world”
“A mesmerising documentary”
Why You Should See This Film
“All these stories revealed just how deep our bond with nature is. And showed that when we give ourselves to nature, it gives us so much back,” says director Ed Sayers. Executive produced by documentary great Asif Kapadia (Amy, Senna), Super Nature is made for the big screen, celebrating the beauty of our planet while highlighting the need to protect it, in a documentary as ambitious in scope as it is distinctive in form
