The Sophia Rose Quartet is a Sydney-based group delivering a captivating blend of cool melodies and improvisations. The quartet features Sydney Conservatorium of Music Jazz current musicians and graduates.
Run by Sophia Hunt on trumpet, the quartet features Tom Odell on piano, James Grandison on bass, and Nate Griffin on drums, each bringing their unique influences and backgrounds to the group.
Characteristic of a Sophia Rose performance makes use of the fusion between jazz standards and funk tunes using modern grooves, creating a captivating listening experience.
