Sydney songwriter Luke Saunders performs two sets of Jeff Buckley music, honouring one of the most influential artists of the 90s.
First set: Grace Album
Second set: Live at Sin-e and deep cuts.
Luke Saunders steps into the most defining moment of his career. Recording his debut solo album, Glide Little Labyrinths Glide, live at Paddington Uniting Church in front of 200 people. No edits, no overdubs, every instrument recorded together.
In Luke’s own words: “The album was born from a time of profound emotional darkness, tracing the parabola of love and the ceaseless pendulum of grief.”
With falsettos reminiscent of Jeff Buckley, angular guitar work, and chamber-inspired arrangements, Luke’s solo sound is a haunting collision of delicacy and power. These songs move like confessionals — unfiltered, unguarded, and alive with a quiet urgency.
