Overview
Star, a 38-year-old woman, is in a race against time. Having never known her parents, she risks losing her land, as title deeds can only be approved for those with recognised kinship or who are married. When Star stumbles upon a book with her face on the cover and, inside, a photograph of herself beside what she believes is her mother’s hand, she embarks on a journey to uncover the truth. Finding her mother may be her only chance to save her land and finally understand where she comes from.
