Originally from Los Angeles, California, Sofia Isella relocated to the Gold Coast in 2020 and has stamped her name on the Australian music industry ever since. At just 17 years old, Isella has performed at The Long Sunset, Out of the Woods, Caloundra Music Festival, Stones Corner Festival, Concrete Jungle, and opened for artists Mallrat, Sycco and more. A classically trained violinist, she incorporates the violin into her live shows and original music, using layers of pedals to bend and twist the sound of the violin.

Inspired by her relative Alan Bean’s moon landing in 1969 and his return to earth to spend the rest of his life painting the moon, Sofia Isella releases a new track ‘Rainbow Rocket Ride’ on May 20, 2022. A captivating performance with upbeat psychedelic production, Sofia plays with alliteration and violin in a colourful joybomb of a track.
