The Goods
Reflections XII

Meet us in the bar to see spaced-out synth funk trio The Goods for Reflections — our special series of live music performances presented monthly on Friday evenings.

Bringing a sound that reaches into the realms of crooked lean R&B and lowslung house, The Goods’ flavour is wild and eclectic yet sharply focused. A band comprised of Badmandela, Rosario and Blacktree, all three are players in their own right, with credits between them including artists such as Touch Sensitive, Daniel Merriweather, Omar, Dereb The Ambassador, George Maple, Adele, Ngaiire, Taku + Wafia.

Their incredible live show has shown support to the likes of Onra, Black Milk, GL, Julien Dyne, Winston Surfshirt, SilentJay & Jace XL, Oddissee & Snarky Puppy as well as consecutive guest appearances at the award winning Vivid Live Festival. The Goods’ runaway single ‘Make Your Move’ garnered radio support from Triple J and Fbi and the accompanying video was featured on Rage as ‘Wild One’ of the week.

Their following EP ‘Make Your Move’ was released in 2019 via Personal Best Records, backing their success with the break-out streaming hit ‘Glow’ which attracted the attention of and ultimate signing to Bastard Jazz (NYC). The Goods are planting seeds for a large 2019 releasing a brand new album via Etcetc and Bastard Jazz. The forthcoming untitled LP features friends such as The Delta Riggs and Touch Sensitive and is slated for release in October of this year.

For this performance, The Goods will be supported by Poison Abbey.
