Retiree
Reflections IX

Meet us in the bar to see acclaimed trio Retiree as part of Reflections — our special series of live music performances presented monthly on Friday evenings.

Retiree is the musical project of three Sydney/ Melbourne mammals: Matt Crowley, Tori Holleman & Marco Vella. Over four summers they’ve steadily congealed their broad influences into a unique emulsion of strongly rhythmic and emotional music.

Retiree have released two 12″s both locally & internationally; Retiree EP (2013) on Plastic World followed by This Place EP (2015) on Rhythm Section International/Plastic World. This year saw the release of their new single ‘Jan’, which delves deeper into their tropical-pop production. Their live set throws all their keyboards, guitar pedals and woodblocks on stage, resulting in long-legged convulsing to a drum machine under honest lyrics.

Doors open at 4pm, performance starts at 9pm sharp
