'When It Breaks' Single Tour

Quivers make cathartic guitar pop that jangles and shimmers somewhere between 1980s Australia and 1990s America. First started by Sam Nicholson in Hobart, the band has since toured Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Now based in Melbourne, 2018 marked the Australian release of debut record ‘We’ll Go Riding on the Hearses’ through Hotel Motel. You might hear the ghosts of early R.E.M. guitars, the earnest lost pop moments of The Go-Betweens and The Chills, or the tight looseness of Modest Mouse and The Walkmen.

To celebrate summer's return, Quivers will tour their next single ‘When It Breaks’ all over Australia in November (released digitally on Wednesday 30th October). A song for people who want their guitar pop to glow in the dark and have choruses you can shout along to, ‘When it Breaks’ is sort of about how we are invincible and live forever until we don’t. As Springsteen said “everything dies baby that’s a fact, maybe everything that dies someday comes back”. Will we come back or be just be buried under the concrete forever?

Doors open at 2:30pm, performance starts at 10pm sharp
