Hailing from South-west Sydney, Jessica Jade’s journey began at the age of 14 as a young singer making her television debut on The X Factor. Fast forward 6 years and the now 20-year-old has transformed into an artist, songwriter and performer with a fanbase that reaches all corners of the globe. Jessica’s music tells stories that she hopes her listeners can relate to while captivating them with a sound that is tough, soulful, bouncy and ethereal.
Jessica has already captured the attention of LifeWithoutAndy, Complex AU and FBi Radio (Independent Artist of the Week) with her catchy R&B sounds, and tracks like ‘I’m Good’, ‘Brandy’, ‘Detox’, and her latest ‘One Time’. About Background Noise
Background Noise is a series of free to attend, monthly live music shows hosted at Golden Age Cinema & Bar. The program of intimate performances will give emerging and established artists a supportive space to not only explore their craft, but talk about it too.
Each evening begins at 9pm with a short interview moderated by Ariane Halls, discussing each artist’s creative process, aural inspiration and musical journey. This is followed by an intimate live set on the Golden Stage that features music relating back to the discussion.
