Overview

What do Beyoncé, Seth Rogen, Donald Glover, Amy Sedaris, James Earl Jones, Alfre Woodard and John Oliver have in common? As it turns out, not very much! Until this film came along. From director Jon Favreau comes a veritably star-studded new take on a cherished Disney classic. Set in the Pride Lands of Africa, the story follows young lion prince Simba (Donald Glover) who must flee the kingdom after the murder of his father Mufasa (James Earl Jones) at the hands of the devilish Scar (Chiwetel Ejiofor). While in exile, Simba learns the true meaning of responsibility and bravery alongside his flatulent pals Timon (Billy Eichner) and Pumbaa (Seth Rogen), a host of hyenas and long-term love interest Nala (Beyoncé).
