Overview

From acclaimed writer-director Rian Johnson (Brick, Looper) comes a stylish, dark and dizzyingly fun murder mystery for the modern age. When wealthy crime novelist Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer) is found dead at his sprawling estate just after his 85th birthday party, the debonair detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) – complete with a refined Southern drawl – is mysteriously enlisted to investigate. Tasked with sifting through a dastardly selection of suspects – from Harlan’s warring family members to his devoted staff – Blanc must reckon with an “enlightened” wellness guru (Toni Collette), a ruthless heiress (Jamie Lee Curtis), a disgruntled publisher (Michael Shannon) and a loyal nurse (Ana de Arnas) in this this star-studded and ingeniously plotted crime tale rife with red herrings.

"A murderously fun whodunit worthy of Agatha Christie ... the film gives nothing away until the bitter end, thanks to a head-spinning tricksiness of plotting"
— The Telegraph UK
"A crackling, devious, and hugely satisfying old-school whodunit with a modern twist"
— Indiewire
"A wickedly entertaining Agatha Christie homage featuring a star-packed cast ... that both respects and revises the subgenre"
— The Guardian
