There’s something strange going on in the boroughs of New York City. Ghoulish gunk is exploding left and right. Paranormal activity is surely afoot. Luckily, there’s a team of ectoplasm extermination experts who you can call, known as the “Ghostbusters”. The crack team of vigilantes (Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Harold Ramis & Ernie Hudson) are run off their feet ridding the city of gruesome characters, but their toughest assignment yet comes when they’re called to investigate a client’s haunted apartment building. Turns out that particular building has been designed as a portal to summon a shape-shifting god of destruction called Gozer. It's up to the Ghostbusters to save New York from Gozer's wrath – and certain doom.
