Overview

Two-time Oscar winner Asghar Farhadi (A Separation, The Salesman) returns with Cannes award winner A Hero, another rich and complex morality tale set in the bustling Iranian city of Shiraz. Rahim (Amir Jadidi) is serving jail time for a debt of 150,000,000 tomans he owes to his brother-in-law, Bahram. Unexpectedly granted a two-day release, Rahim is presented with a golden opportunity to pay off his debt and secure his freedom. But things don’t go as planned, and in traditional Farhadi style, moral conundrums suddenly abound.
